My Favorite Ski Photos of 2022.
Ski season is well over at this point in the year. So while I have been getting out on the mountain bike and chasing high alpine hikes, I’ve been shuffling through ski photos from this winter.

Tenmile Sunrise
Sunrise on the Tenmile Range in Summit County. This is view is visible from the last switch back before you get to the parking lot at A-Basin.

Chair 8

Sunburst
The sun shining through the trees on a bluebird day at Taos Ski Valley, NM.

Jones Pass
My ski partner Jeffy skinning on the approach to Jones Pass.

Blustery Day
Hiding out from the brutal winds at tree line. Harsh weather usually makes for interesting shot.

The Decsent
Jeffy carving fresh powder through the trees.

Looking Through the Window
My ski partner Brian skinning in the Indian Peaks Wilderness past some abandoned mining structures.

The Money Shot
This isn’t an advertisement, but it sure looks like it came out of an outdoor catalog…

Traversing the Rim
Hiking across the top of the old abandoned Berthoud Ski area.

The Indian Peaks
A panoramic shot of the western flanks of the Indian Peaks

The Perfect Turns
Brian leaving his mark until the next storm conceals our tracks.

Grey's and Torreys
I’ve yet to ski these mountains, but you always get a peak at them as you head to the ski areas. I’ve always enjoyed how they hide out back there.
